In the performance Carnivores, two performers embroidered text that refers to women on a giant slice of “ham” (a piece of fabric), while the other two performers used tattoo needles to poke female-associated words on ham slices with red and
black ink. Meat production is inevitably associated with blood, violence and controversies. Comparably, women's bodies are
often directly or indirectly “wounded”. The performers seem to make tattoos on slices of meat instead of the human skin. The
space was filled with factory noises, different female voices appearing intermittently, witnessing this collaboration project.
